Greater Roadrunner
I’ll talk about Greater Roadrunner today. They live in desert area/dry environment. I saw a Greater Roadrunner in Indio, California. I was lucky.
They can’t fly so much, so they don’t migrate. However, they run 18 miles per hour. They eat many kind of things including Snakes and Lizards.

The Lizard is eating a Bee. The Roadrunner may eat the Lizard one day. It’s a food-chain.

Is that true that Honey Bees are decreasing? I see Honey Bees everyday in California. Probably because there’s almond fields near my house. California produces 80% of almonds of the world. The pollination of the almond depends on bees.

Apparently, Greater Roadrunners also eat Hummingbirds! How they manage to catch one I have no idea. I hope Greater Roadrunner can find other foods.
