Morro Bay

It was very windy and cold in late May. I stayed at a hotel with a view of the Bay. Gulls were flying in front of my hotel room window.

I somehow got a wrong impression and went to the Pacific Wildlife Care facility thinking it was open to the public. They said “No.” If you find injured wildlife around there, contact them. Otherwise, don’t bother.

They have a bird festival. It is scheduled for next year (January). Not sure I’ll make it in January, but I would like to visit Morro Bay again after the pandemic is over.

My time there was limited so I was only able to go to the Morro Rock area. In the future I would like to explore other areas around there.
