Black Phoebe is a common bird found year-round in California. They are raising juvenile birds now. I recently came across this family.
Black Phoebe juveniles were waiting for their mom. The mom was getting bugs on the tree. Mom came back to them.
Black Phoebe juvenile has brown wingbars while an adult (below) has white wingbars.
